Remembrance (Pantoum)

by LadyPearl   Jul 25, 2006

Undefined dreams playing roles in lonely hearts
Illusions of emotions tap into self-play
Listing the time when things fell apart
Putting reverence and happiness at bay

Illusions of emotions tap into self-play
Confining anger to it's crystal dismay
Recollecting why I'm in this place today
Putting reverence and happiness at bay

Confining anger to it's crystal dismay
Tears of innocence reveal wide-opened streams
Putting reverence and happiness at bay
Withered away from the sad thirst of dreams

Tears of innocence reveal wide-opened streams
Listing the time when things fell apart
Withered away from the sad thirst of dreams
Undefined dreams playing roles in lonely hearts

Very nicely done, Noni. This poem right here is a mouth dropper. I havn't yet tried one of these types, but I'd love too. You've done an excellent job at it. Keep it up, hun. 5/5

This was definitely a new kind of poetry! I really liked it, though. I`m considering writing one like it, it really grasped my attention! The flow and the rhyming was really good. Great job! 5/5
