All Of Me

by Vic   Jul 26, 2006

Pictures have no lips
Yet they speak a thousand words.
I paint my soul upon my wall
And still I remain unheard.

The loneliness is a teacher
Who speaks wisdom beyond years.
A hermit I've recently been
Still haven't learned to hold back tears.

Responsibility is great
You learn to hold your own.
I've taken up too many
For my weak shoulders to hold.

Courage is a challenge
To differ the weak and strong man.
I've faced it all so many times
To the point that I can't stand.

Patience is a virtue
Which awaits the fruit of reward.
I've humbly watched the time go by
No smooth times, all were hard.

Strength Is aid I've had to earn
When weakness was just a no.
Yet all this time I've come to find
It does no damage against sorrow.

Will is what combines the soul
The body along with the mind.
Still to no avail I stand
Against time, I lag behind.

The frustration felt is strong
It flows throughout my whole.
Biggest enemy I've come to find
Long wait before my goal.

All of me I've used in turns,
One by one each had their fall.
Thousands of words remain unheard
Voice can't escape my wall...

I loved the openings you used for each stanza, and I think that the poem flowed really well. Nothing I would change, 5/5!

Wow that was a sad poem. I liked the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th stanzas. They were really well written, and I liked the fact that you started out with some powerful words. The rhymes and the flow in this one was great as well.

    Wow~

This was actually really good. Your flow and rhyming were great, and it was written really well. I don't think I can see anything at all that I'd change. =) Keep it up~
