Upon This Grave [Epitaph]

by Jessica   Jul 26, 2006

Love and smiles flowed from within
A glowing light that brightened our days
This heart shall live on to protect and love
And upon this grave, I shall tenderly gaze..

I love these types of poems. It didn't ryhme though, but it doesn't have to, cause they are not requiered to ryhme just some do, and honestly I don't care. I enjoyed it anyway.

I liked the way you described the person as someone good that used to live, but still lives in the hearts of the ones who loved her/him. I'm not sure about the last line, though.

    Good job!

    Keep writing.
