These Six Strings (Guitar)

Behind my lonely house there is a shore
eagles love to stay there till the very end
often they try to reach me through main door
while smelling the flesh of a living dead

i watch them everyday from my bleeding window
realizing how desperately they want to taste the skin of mine
and it reminds me of the way i wanted you so
but the years have just passed me by, and now i am dyin

these six strings could take me to the other side
where i don't have to be scared, i don't have to hide
never would i be a prisoner living like a life of insane
with eagles reminding of the things that rises pain

life is like a novel, you don't know whats next
until you keep turning pages again and again
memories are just like those boldly printed text
reminding you of things which always rises pain

with my own lullaby, i could rest my soul in peace
surpass the gates of heaven, with my wings
need no one to whisper in my ears "everything is alright"
all i need is my WILL and these six strings

    Tjis stanza really hit me it reminds me so much of how I feel sometimes.

    This is so beautiful. I enjoy your writing so much. The last part of this poem made me cry. Need no one to whisper in my ears "everything is all right" All I need is my WILL and these six strings. I relate to this so much. All I have is my WILL and it is very strong. Excellent my friend excellent!

    Beautiful.. How lost we can all get, moving on, but using something so simple to do so. For those who have lost God, the rest can have music.. lol.. My piano is to me as your guitar is to you, and each new page in that book, is a new day, to look upon a clearer future.. Well done.. (I did read the poem right, I just got a bit carried away with this comment!! lol). xx
