Wind Blown Past

by HighPerfection   Aug 7, 2006

You shattered me
Your final kiss sealed my lips
Now every pain is sealed into my skull
No longer able to speak of my pain
It has begun to destroy me
Leaving me so exposed to the elements
The wind stinging my arms
Ripping them open like a blade
The pain I feel is unbearable
I cannot hold on
The scars no longer heal
My words become whispers
The blood stained arms scream help me
But no one is listening
The memory of me has been blown into the wind
And the razor blades have began to rust
My coffin is sealed
With no one inside
I still walk with dread
I will make it another decade
But I will always have a scar to remind me
Of when the wind swept me off my feet
Disfigured my memory forever
I will never gain back that part of me I lost
But I will have the memory of the good things that happened after
