True Fear

by HighPerfection   Aug 7, 2006

I am not broken
I am too bent one to many dents
I was your vent of your anger
It all screamed danger
You never knowing when to stop
I never thought I should I have fought
Every fist brought a blow
Crushing my skin into dough
My heart to hardened by hate
I will never forget the date
That he went away
I was no longer afraid
Only haunting my sleep
Yet continuously causing me to bleed
It is never going to end
But first I must begin
And I start the new trend
Maybe I will get one step ahead
Forever deemed with a shake of panic
I stand here looking like a deer
So shocked and surprised
I can not believe you are alive
After what you did you should be dead
I fill with dread
Yet again I see your hand ahead
Again..

I really like this, you did a very good job on telling this story. my favorite part of it was probably

I stand here looking like a dear
    so shocked and surprised

just that one part made a very vivid mental pic in my mind..

    good write, keep it up
