A Leaking Pen

by Sarah Ann   Aug 9, 2006

My pen leaks onto the paper
Bringing out all thoughts that waver
Inking the feelings of my heart
Tearing each bitter word apart

Writing down a precious life
Releasing thoughts from me in spite
As differences put out my shame
My pen it leaks pain in my name

As each word sinks, my heart devours
And all can site how I have cowered
For my pen, it brings what lips can't heave
Through truths and lies, my pen may bleed

But never will this journey rest
My pen puts all hearts to the test
In conclusion it is my life, my savor
As my pen pours my soul onto paper

I love this poem. I can realte so well to it. When anything happens I just grab my journal and place the pen upon the paper and I start to write. It might not be good but it sure does make me fell alot better. I really enjoyed this poem. Very easy to read, and the flow was exellent.
