Alone

There is a lonely, shattered girl
who looks almost exactly like me
and she seems to cry every night
because she doesn't know who she can be

she has to hide how she really feels
her tears only fall when no ones there
and she can't seem to understand
it's just all so unfair

and her poor dragging heart
can't feel anymore
it's almost completely numb
from her soul being tore

she has given up on her dreams
they got lost a long time ago
and for here future
if she'll have one she doesn't even know

so many questions unanswered
her life is slipping away
she doesn't know how long she can hang on
what else is she supposed to say?

she can't seem to tell anyone
or find her way on her own
she has to decide to live or die
either way being alone
