I Lost Myself

by David Marshall   Aug 13, 2006

I'm crawling on the ground,
Blood everywhere.
I don't make a sound,
I don't even care.

You can cut my throat,
You can cut my wrist.
You can call me names,
I wont get pissed.

No pain you give,
can ever hurt me.
My hearts died out,
can't you see.

So open my chest,
and rip my heart out.
It use to hurt,
but thats how we start out.

I don't care if I die,
I've tried my best.
They don't care if I cry,
let the knife finish the rest.

So cut me up,
add more scars.
Kill me now,
under these stars.

Shed my skin,
torch my love.
passion is gone,
I lost my dove.

I lost my faith,
I lost my mind,
I lost my hope,
Impossible to find.

I lost my love,
I lost my sight,
I lost my heart,
nothing left tonight.

I lost myself,
I lost whats true,
I lost everything,
I even lost you.

I want you back,
I want you so bad.
I miss you so much,
I lost what I had.

I lost the moon,
I lost the sun.
I'll be dead soon,
cause I still have my gun.

I lost my soul,
I lost my pride,
I lost my smile,
because I'm dead inside.

David I'm speechless... I've gone through that except it wasnt for love.. more just my "lovely" problems. But the poem was amazing and so far it is definately a favorite... I dont like YOU being depressed, but I love the depressing stuff you write.
