The Woman Who Changes Last Names As Often As Her Socks

by xoxShorteexox   Aug 17, 2006

I watched her ruin lives,
& take names.
I watched her crush people's heart without blinding,
& smile as she did so evilly.
I watched her call me fat for years,
& I just took it.
I watched her gain weight,
& me loss it so rapidly.
I watched her going through husband after husband,
& I waited for the next groom-to-be.
I watched money come & go,
& I watched misery take it's toll.
She always pulled me down with her,
& I always let it happen.
I watched her last name change over & over,
& mine stayed the same.
I watched her get huge, deep, & ugly wrinkles,
& her annoyingly evil laugh.
I finally walked away,
& now I don't hear or see her anymore.
