To my long lost twin,
It's been about a year since we met
Sharing words through the screen
We haven't seen each other's faces yet

I think about you everyday
I wish that you were here
Walking the halls in school with me
Getting each other through another year

I’ll just be sitting at the dinner table
And see that empty chair
Wishing your plate could be there too
Trying not to complain to God it’s unfair

I’ll be in my room at night
Cutting stuff out of a magazine
Wishing you could eat popcorn with me
Just being girls; being teens

I can see us cruising down main street
In my sexy red car, everyone stares
The guys just can't control themselves
They all wish we were theirs

We'd go out on double dates every Friday
With the best guys in the school
And girl, we'd look absolutely gorgeous
In our dresses sitting on a stool

Perhaps wake up late on a Saturday
Go for a run or play a sport
Our tall athletic bodies will always give our best
Whether on the field or on the court

Man there are those lonely summer nights
Where I light the tiki torches on fire
Just wishing we could talk under the stars
And watch each flame rise higher and higher

Together we'd make a difference
Being examples of Christ in all we do
We'd show the world that we need Jesus
Help them start their lives over new

We wouldn't go out and party
Because everyone was doing it
When people talked behind our backs
We wouldn't care a bit
