Armed With Courage.

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Aug 23, 2006

Armed with courage trudging through the silence,
Beholding the blessed; forgetting those who've fallen,
Remembering old faces beneath the moon that night,
A silver blade shining from a glistening light.

Blood thirsty demons waiting for perfect opportunities,
Sinking their fangs into fresh flesh and be done with their prey,
Blood spilling over forest floors,
Wolves howling at the harvest moon.

Armed with courage, spirits raise their bloody blades,
ready to fight, ready to conquer,
Enemy after Enemy is slain,
Armed with courage, vacant spirits will desolate.

Sinking their fangs into fresh flesh and be done with their prey,
((..fresh flesh being done... Maybe? I don't know I just don't like this line..))

I really liked this poem. There's nothing I can much say about it, as I rather wrote a novel for my last comment, but I just really enjoyed it. You're an amazing writer and all your poems are just perfect the way they are.. I really liked how this one didn't seem to have a rhyme scheme to it, yet somethings rhymed. Nicely done. Perfect for the poem.
