Dad

Daddy when I was little,
I use to fall asleep in your arms.
Now I\'m too big,
but you still hold me when I cry.

Daddy when I would sit on your leg,
you\'d bounce me up and down.
Now I\'m too big,
but you still pick me up.

Daddy when I would cuddle up to you,
I\'d feel safe.
Now I\'m still doing that,
but it\'s not the same.

Daddy I\'m older now,
your wise has now become mine.
Now I\'m smart,
but you\'ll always be smarter.

Daddy I\'m old now,
your heart has been stolen by me.
My love was always yours first,
but now it\'s a lot peoples too.

Daddy I\'m your little girl,
but I\'m bigger now.
My kisses were yours first,
but someone else gets them too.

Daddy I\'m your little girl,
forever I promise.
The day you give me to him,
I\'ll cry.

Awhe, I wish I was close to my Daddy, but I'm not. Sooo. =[ Lovely poem though.

    Love you.
