Alone I break

My love shows for nothing,
Emotions fade into absence,
A heart beating for no-one,
A pointless existence,

A life so empty,
yet so full,
the darkness within,
its never ending pull,

To live is generous,
to die is greedy,
a life complicated,
death is eerie,

a need for trust,
a need to believe,
the reason i'm here,
is not to decieve,

do you feel me,
a touch so deathly,
do you see me,
eyes so empty,

do you understand me,
a mind so hollow,
do you hear me,
full of woe,

beginning to overpower me,
the darkness inside,
coming to a point,
where I can longer hide,

reaching the limit,
no more can i take,
living a hollow existence,
alone i break.
