Looking For Your Body

Chased by a faint object,
with no intentions of good.
Headed home only to find,
I've lost so much more.
As I ran up and down those stairs,
only to find the walls covered in blood and no bodies to be found.
Fingernail marks on the walls,
and blood covering my hands.
I'm looking for you,
but your body is no where to be found.
I searched this house up and down,
but your body isn't here.
I'm hoping you're safe,
but thinking of the worst.
That something chasing me,
has come for you too.
I'm looking for your body,
