Heaven help me

Drowning in this blood
Watching the crimson regret fall
Watching them wait
Another body to maul
The devil is waiting
Waiting for me
I look around, no angel I see
Not worthy of heaven
I hate being this
Yet no matter how hard I try
It's a heart i miss
Screaming inside
For the emotions I lack
For the soul that was taken
I'll never receive back
So no matter how high I climb
And how good I teach
Heaven is the place
I'll never be able to reach
