Concrete

by ASPHYXIATED   Sep 7, 2006

Reseal the damage,
Fill in all cracks,
Correct all mistakes,
As it slowly snaps.

Broken; Yet together,
She's concrete,
Fallen; Yet secure,
She's concrete,
Bruised; yet strong,
She's concrete.

Walk all over it,
Abuse it each day,
Crack and ruin it,
Then just walk away.

Strong enough to hold you up; Yet inside dying herself,
She's concrete,
Hard as concrete,
Tough as concrete,
Used as concrete.

I can relate to that poem.
    So much...
Especially for what's going on right now!
    I loved it!
    Amazingly perfect. =]
