CHROME SAVIOURS

by Tim Fleckney   Sep 12, 2006

Molten metal fornicating
in madness

Rust specked steel
conceived in
fiery lust

Death stalks
the factory floor

worker bees
genuflect before
Chrome Saviour's

A Cadillac hangs
on a cross
While Harley's
guard the palace

Paper pushers
shudder with
maniacal greed

Flabby beer bellies
spasm in terror
While trembling lips
pray for
Quitting Time

    " A Cadilac Hangs
    While Harleys Graud the plce."
That really jumped out at me because its like we are worshiping all the matireal things in the world and we can't get enough. The way i look at this poem is that the world thinks to much of what they don't have and what they "need". Really good write.
