Lies of Tomorrow

by Tim Fleckney   Feb 19, 2007

I could taste
The deceit on
Her lips as she
Slipped her forked
Tongue into my
Mouth

Venomous laser
Shot from her
Eyes and pinned me
To the bed as she
Reached for the only
Part of me that could
respond to a a woman
Like that

I rose to the occasion and
Slipped off the
Veil of honesty

Slowly I slid my
Own guile into
Her warm moist
Trap of hypocrisy

Together we rode
The wave of
Lustfull truth
While swapping
Lies of tomorrow

"^ I presume repeating the above statements is unnecessary"
(and yet I've done it anyway)
I'm just another reader to come and tip my hat to you. In all honesty, it blew me away to read something like that. With the title as it was, I wasn't expecting much of it to be metaphorical, or sensual...I love that you proved me wrong. Excellent job.
I'm taking alot out of just reading this, and I hope I can come back around and be taught more. :). You're a born writer.

WOW! I get so lost in your poetry... This is amazing, really wish I couldn't relate to such a piece. You conveyed these feelings just perfectly in your own awesome style...
