You Acknowledge My Existence

by RainbowSlider   Sep 12, 2006

You acknowledge my existence.
Much can be said about persistence.
Two lonely hearts that have survived.
It doesn't matter how we arrived.
What matters is that we are friends.
Neither of us live in let's pretend.
We were both washed up on the shore.
So let's get to know each other more.
There isn't any real thing to fix.
It not easy living in the sticks.
A jungle of problems to face everyday.
But still I am glad we met this way.
I don't know how to make it better.
It is nice when we can get together.
Your friendship I have treasured.
How can that be really measured?
I can talk to you every day, pal.
To me you are really quite a gal.
You mean more than words can say.
We can communicate better, today.
I see you and feel intense.
You acknowledge my existence.
