Color Shouldn't Matter

by Peachez612   Sep 13, 2006

Why should color matter
To every through and through?
Why should color matter?
It's just me and you!

Why does it matter?
You're beautiful the way you are.
No one should care
If you're light or dark.

Come on-Tell me Color never happened.
Lie in my face
That our ancestors didn't die
From being whipped because of race.

So listen to me out loud,
And follow your heart...
Life would be great
If racism didn't start.

I was wondering about this. I think you could use more somthing I can't put my finger on it. I mean all races have their problems and historys I was raised in alaska where being part white is a sin in a village. I am 1/4 native and look white. I was the one picked on when i wasent being beat up.
