I've Always Wanted

by David Marshall   Sep 22, 2006

I've always wanted to be happy,
to lay low on the pain.
To forget about my sorrow,
when my eyes began to rain.

I've always wanted that feeling,
To know It'll be alright.
To be safe no matter what,
when you're held all moon night.

I've always wanted that dream,
To have my wishes come true.
To create delight for myself,
everything I wanted to do.

I've always wanted your love,
The ultimate core of my desire.
But my hopes are torn apart,
torn and thrown in fire.

I've always wanted the truth,
just give me one damn clue.
I've always wanted...
I've always needed you.
