Paper Cut Killer

by Tammie   Sep 22, 2006

Giving up on life
Just to take away the pain
Giving into temptation
This razor wins again

The numb feeling it gives
Felt better than ever
Slicing her skin
It's now or never

Deeper and deeper
The blood starts to flow
Around and around
The world starts to go

The bath water begins to change
As she bathes in her own blood
The dilution of blood and water
Turns as crimson as a rosebud

She says goodbye to the world
As she slowly fades away
Life finally took its toll
On that cold winters day

Body pale as a ghost
Her mother found her there
Unknowing of her daughters suffering
Completely unaware

That paper cut killer
Cut too deep this time
Her sorrow and pain is over
Now to heaven she will climb

That was awesome. The emotions were really deep, and the pain was felt throughout each stanza.
There is a talent inside you, i believe there is more good work to come.

Great job! I enjoyed the read. From the tittle of the poem I was expecting something totally different. I usually don't read to many suicide poems, but I must say that this one was great. 5/5
