Bid Farewell

by Sarah Ann   Sep 26, 2006

A new world waits across the ocean.
Feet sink far beneath the sand
Life has cracked and lost emotion
Ideas struggle to expand

Mothers hold on to their daughters
Fathers pray for a fair fight
Children; watch the utmost slaughter
The world is devilish by night

War destroyed all of the people
Society raped faith and torn hearts
Governments: Destructing their own kingdom
Life has many faces, but two parts

A flip of a coin is now the end
Two choices determine fate
The sinner is the man's best friend
Alternatives are far too late

Each day the world grows thicker
Imagination and corruption swell
Strong is weak; and some grow sicker
And joy is ending; Bid farewell

    I agree.
If life is Like a Rose...
    Then what about its Thorns?
may this be an eye opener to the world we are living in.

    God Bless!

Dang!!! Girl, I must say you have really
expressed the state of the world in these
    trying times, no doubt.
Each stanza a great write by them selfs
and as a whole has a lot for all of us to
    learn.
Lets hope and pray we all can soon live
in peace and no one will never have to
    Bid farewell

Excellent read indeed and write on,
    Bogie
