Cold Sun

In my eyes
Come and see
Everything you don't want to be
As the sun pours it's cruel heat
It melts everything away

God is dead
My heart is lead
Just let me leave
But the truth will stay with me
It'll still be this way

Here I go
But I don't know
Is this just a waste of time?
Luck for me hasn't been so sweet
What will make it change now?

Sanity
Stay with me
Pain is just a state of mind
Heaven send hell away
And in purgatory I'll stay

Morning thoughts
Desperately
Try to bring me down
They change me into
Someone different everyday

Hang my head
Water rise
Close my eyes
And this will all just go away

Here comes the cold sun
To pull us all away
