Daddy where are you going

by disturbed one   Sep 27, 2006

This actually was supposed to be about a little boy and his dad leaving for the war but i didnt really get to incorporate it in. but i showed it to my friend and she read the 2nd/3rd verse and shes like i know what this is about and i asked her and shes like he went off to war...i was like...YAY!!! lol

so anyways enuf blabbing

Daddy where are you going,
You cant leave me here,
I\'ll be lost without you,
Please come back before I start to tear,

You always said take care of mom and,
Your the man of the house,
Well I dont want that,
It sounds like my mother is my spouse,

I dont know where you are but,
Its the good things I\'ll remember,
Not the man who left me,
On the 25th of december,

Daddy where are you going,
I never want to reminisce,
You cant die now,
Daddy you cant leave me like this

umm this poem wasnt very nice to me...i originally didnt have this ending and i had a different line for the 2nd line last verse but nothing rhymed with it so i decided to change it after 3 days of trying to come up with something lol...

Wow another well written poem. I liked this one, I thought you did a good job and I like how you never reallllly say he left for war, but by reading it you could get that's where he was going..
