Silver Shadows

by Kim   Sep 28, 2006

Glistening pale eyes
Watered down with iridiscent tears
Gaze at the metallic stars.
Their haunting song trembling
Through narrow crowded forest ways
And shredded minds dance under
Their reflecting, twisted smiles.
Shadows wash the earth
Leaving a grey imprint upon
The adhesive edges of
Tormented souls.
Shivering from despair and malice
I fade into the brightness
Of a silver plated world.

Short, sweet, and to the point. I really felt emotion in this poem. I like the way it flows.
