I can't seem to tear my mind from you,
No matter what I seem to try,
Even when you just walk through...
You always catch my eye,

I'm trying to understand this feeling,
And why I do this to myself,
You seem to have my head reeling,
With a simple smile and nothing else,

But do I dare say something of it to you?
No, no not yet my answer always seems,
I fear the only place you'd like me true,
Is if it were but in dreams,

Yet say I were to talk to you
Maybe tell you how I feel,
Maybe you'd say you feel this too...
Maybe this is real

But is this rush of emotion real?
Hah, I've believed such before,
But I have come through experience to feel,
That love is not but wishful lore.
