Beautiful Sunrise

by x.Athame.x   Oct 3, 2006

The morning sun rises slowly over the horizon
Lighting the world in its pure golden light
The mist of the morning is just starting to fade
The air so clean and fresh from the storm
The dew sits on the grass, making everything shine
The clear blue sky now gets hints of purple
Streaks of color like paint on a canvas
With a wild artist throwing paint all over
The suns first rays now touch the flowers
After the cold night they open to the warm caress
Of the suns gentle light
So beautiful is this time of day
In the early morning when the entire world
Seems to sleep, even the crickets are silent
Almost like a silent tribute to the sun's rising
The beautiful dawn, when all the stars fade
That time in which the night fades away
And the new day begins to come to us
For everyday when the sun rises, its like a new world is made.
