Poetry Revolution

by LadyPearl   Oct 13, 2006

Never forget the past nor the future that's to come
Never forget the warmth given by our sun
Even when you can't release the thought of tears
Write your blood where Heaven can see it clear

Poetry has emerged with a greater value than art
It has switched to a mode of opening our hearts
Allowing us to dig deeper within our own reflection
Unveiling a mask which have kept us in delusion

All the sweat, the stress poured unto these words
But poetry is blabbering in the world of standards
No one cares about the deepness in poetry
They all shoo it away as a writer's self-misery

They're ignorant while we see the shadows lurking
They sleep while we dream of a future lost in killing
Even my friends neglect the meanings as self-pity
They think I'm too serious when I'm just being me

Oh my gosh. This was so well written I don't know what to say! The words were beyond well done, and you have a great way with all of your descriptions and such. Keep it up. =) 5/5 xoxo

Brilliant, the best poem you asked me to look at. the rhyming was not at all forced and it seemed very natural with what the poem means because sometimes someone will rhyme but the words dont fit, this poem all fitted and came together well. well done

This poem is one of the most mind-opening poems I have read today. And that's saying a lot, since I've been going through the published works of famous poets all day. Good job.
