Let's Do The Atom Bomb Dance

Inspired by a picture I saw on DeviantARTdotcom.

Gather around young children
and put on a smiling face!
For today is a day of dying men
and raining radiation all over the place.

Drop the bomb and make a circle around the destruction
look at the magnificent colors of fire and pain!
Laughing and dancing, creating an obstruction,
now let's get the bomb and drop it on Spain.

America, Iraq, Korea, China, Africa,
Mushrooms of flame ascend very quickly.
Dear children over there, come prance with us,
we can even give you some candy.

Nefarious giggles,
malevolent grins,
we watch our world get reduced to scribbles
and now the fires are beginning to melt our precious skin.

Oh, my children, do not cry!
This is nothing compared to what will come!
A kingdom is waiting just for you and I,
a kingdom for worthless fools and other things very gruesome.

    Its horrible to think of the attrocities that have occured in the world today. The title really caught my eye. It was definetly unique!

    To get that from a picture is amazing... the rhyming was good but the flow was a little off because some lines were a little long but overall, it was good.

    I'm gonna be honest i don't really like this. it's confusing and i don't understand what it's really about. i don't know it might just be me. but this is not one of your best poems.

    I love rhyming poem as it shows you've challenged youself and your rhyming is not bad at all,you have put alot of effort into your poem and the results shine as you've made it an interesting topic i love it
