Fatal Attraction

by Amy   Mar 17, 2004

She walked through the alley
vulnerable and alone
a figure jumped out
from the shadows
knowing she was on her own

Her heart thudded
as she recognized his face
her legs wouldn't move
as she tried to run from this place

She opened her mouth
but no sound came out
frozen in fear
she screamed aloud

He roughly grabbed her
and pushed her hard
against the wall
he made his scars

Deep inside
she thought she had gotten away
but she had to face this fear
everyday

Pain seared through her body
she struggled in fear
as she felt his hot breath
way too near

She felt his hands
wander and roam
all she wanted
was to run and get home

As she fought against his touch
he slapped and hit
she was losing her strength
bit by bit

I wont let him do this
she thought in her mind
i wont be the victim
not this time

She gathered her strength
and with all her mite
brought a knee to the groin
she wouldn't give in
without a fight

He moaned in pain
and fell to the floor
she knew she had won
as he cursed and swore

She ran all the way home
her tears she hid
much like in everything
that she did

Went to her room
and closed the door
tuned up the music
then let her tears pour

When will i wake
from this nightmare?
what did i do
its so unfair

As she cried
her life drained away
she began to feel numb
everyday

Now people wonder why
but she can never tell
shes trapped forever
in own personal hell
