Ignorance of Humanity

by Genevieve   Oct 27, 2006

We, as humans,
pass judgment in arrogance,
Thinking we understand.
We think we understand the world,
the meaning of life.
Only to realize we live in stupidity,
thinking we know the truth.
Never really knowing what lies beyond,
knowing no more about what life contains.
So, here we walk,
still, in arrogance,
of life and death,
of good and evil,
of heaven and hell.
Only to remember
Ignorance can be bliss,
and to know hell is to live in it.
