Perfect Is What We Aim For

Perfect is what we aim for, though it's an uphill fight.
Perfect makes it better, when nothing's going right.

Perfect is enchanting, illusions you can't catch.
Perfect makes you sparkle, a shine no one can match.

Perfect is a fortress, that you can hide behind.
Perfect is denial, a game played in your mind.

Perfect takes some effort, and that you can't forget.
Perfect is what we aim for, Perfect is what we get.

    Very thought provoking write. Perfect is something we crave these days, yet anything rarely is as we constantly want more...
    This was a very simple yet truthful write. I enjoyed it very much.
    Oh and while I'm here hope you had a nice thanksgiving, I don't celebrate it (I'm English) but thanks for the nice thoughts. Also, I was reading "about you" we're pretty similar, curly hair, in love, love cats, hate drugs, easily confused, and I'm somewhat invisible too...Anyway take care,

    we do aim for perfection all the time...
    but not always get it...
    imagine if the world was perfect...
    how would we feel... hehe...

    it was a very nice poem!
