Car Crash

by Jochsey   Oct 31, 2006

I arrive on scene
In the big red truck
When we got the call
I knew it was gonna suck

It was a high speed crash
Just out of town
A small old car
Which the colour was brown

I walk to the car
But soon start to run
For I had just realized
That it was my son

I get to the door
And see you trapped inside
I feel so helpless
I can only look from the side

It starts to rain
As I try to stand
I know that there is nothing
as I hold my sons hand

Yours eyes start to close
and your grip weakens
It is so dark, Except for
the glow from the beacons

I watched you die
On the side of the road
Trapped in a tin can
Ready to explode
