DISABILITY

by Boogie   Nov 13, 2006

As he walks the streets to reach his destination
All eyes turn around and look at him with repulsion
Hes just a boy, just a little kid
The age of 8 and never enjoyed his childhood like others did
Never interfered with anything; hes such a quiet kid
Yet hes always left in the corner all alone
Like a piece of unwanted stone that has been thrown
He is well known
Yet he doesnt have any friends of his own
By no means did he ever do anything wrong
Its just that he wasnt born as strong
He isnt capable of playing like others do
And cant communicate as well as they do
And for that no one would look at him, not even his own brothers
Theyre too ashamed to be seen with him when surrounded by others
Everyone continuously avoids him
They just stand far away and mock him
When he approaches someone and tries to talk
They just turn around and start to walk
Only God knows if he will ever manage to live a normal life
Grow up, start working, and maybe get a wife
For he is stuck with a life time strife
A strife that can never be wiped away
Just because his mom used to smoke regularly from the first day
She found out that she has a baby coming on its way
