Love and Hate

Love and hate two completely different words
though they both affect the life of a certain girl
love is all that she wants to feel
though she hates they don't see its real

she doesn't let it out, just lets it hide
but then again maybe thats why she cries
but she still thinks its too soon for her to tell
just how deep she has honestly fell

she just thinks about it all
covers up all the tears that fall
just because she cant reveal
every emotion that she feels

deep in her soul she fights and fights
its starting to slip, her grasp isn't as tight
as it was the first couple of days
what she feels is changing in many ways

love and hate are two completely different words
though they both affect the life of a certain girl
no one understand the pain that she hides
they don't show they care, they don't ask why

its like they don't see the cuts, scratches, or the marks
that are the scars from dealing with her broken heart
she locks it deep inside and throws away the key
hoping that someday someone will eventually see

though there is something the girl still doesn't know
and that is she does have someone to whom she can go
a silent little angel who has always been there
who has tried to wipe away all the flowing tears

someone who listens and tries to understand
a girl that will forever hold her hand
he angel that has always been her friend
the one that has never let her reach the end

since you have let me in i see the pain you hide
i show that i care and i try to figure out why
i know you deal with both love and hate
but when you get lonely me being there was fate

love and hate are two different words
though they both affect one certain girl
everyone has love and hate, but maybe now she can see
that the silent little angel that will forever care has always been me!
