Weight of the World

by disturbed one   Dec 3, 2006

The title should actually be...Like all my screaming has gone unheard cuz that was the line i had to use to write this poem with but...its from Weight of the World by Evanescence and i like that title better...soo...here it is

Weight of the World

All these thoughts in my head,
Are being portrayed,
As I lift up my wrist,
And lower my blade,

As the tears subside,
The night ends in bliss,
Why did this happen,
My wounds never hurt like this,

Something has come upon me,
The pain so absurd,
Feels like the weight of the world,
Like all my screaming has gone unheard,

As the tears subside,
The night ends in bliss,
With no one to say goodbye,
My knife gives me my last sweet kiss
