You'll See

by Gem   Dec 4, 2006

You think that now I'm all alone
I'll just crumble up and fall
But you'll see how I don't need your love
And I'll still be standing tall

You think that all I'll do is cry
And beg you to come back
But you'll see I have the dignity
And happiness you lack

You think cos of how you treated me
I'll be broken down in tears
But you'll see I'm looking forward
To the new upcoming years

You think I'll never laugh again
And be consumed in sadness
But you'll see how happy I've become
Nights out of girly madness

You think that I have nothing left
Now that you've gone away
But you'll see I couldn't care less
Cos tomorrows a brand new day ©

Quite a positive, possibly self-denying, view of a break up.

Those nights of girly madness can drive a young lad crazy though.
