Why is life so confusing
Why is it all just a blur
One minute you're here
And the next you're not sure

You promised me so much
That you were here for me
I would always have your touch
And I would always see

Just how much you cared
And all you needed was me
Though now your longer here
I'm obviously not what you need

Cause if I was then why are you gone
Why have you left my side
I can no longer hear our song
Cause I hate that i cry

I hate that i cry for something like this
Crying for that one broken promise
The heart you have broken
With words you have spoken

Why is life so confusing
Why is it all just a blur
One minute you're here
And the next you're not sure

Why would you take everything you gave away
Why did you keep promising me another day?
How could you just break something so strong
When from my view nothing went wrong

But it's ok and it doesn't matter
I will learn and grow from this
I will never again let my heart shatter
Cause I no longer believe in the words "I promise"
