Shoved aside

I stand there in silence,
Glowing so much,
They all stand and stare,
But they're not allowed to touch.

My baubles on show,
The tinsel not covering much,
I feel so bloody naked,
But never mind they cannot touch.

And there they go,
As the night gets dark,
They turn me one,
And I receive such a remark.

Oh your tree is beautiful,
Such great decorations,
But that lovely angel,
Expands our expectations.

She's the best part of the tree,
She makes the rest look good,
That's it I'm annoyed,
Could she stand where I'm stood?

That it they've asked for it,
I shake myself as much as I can,
She falls with a thud,
There's the end to my evil plan.

I stand there looking pretty,
Receiving another compliment,
And then she places on top of me,
A star shaped ornament.

That's when it all starts again,
The star takes the pride,
And once again the poor old tree,
is shoved aside.

The tree then plots,
to throw the star aside,
it blows a gust of wind,
the star and floor collide.

The owner now P*ssed off,
she gets out a box,
out comes jesus being crucified,
carefully places it watching as the tree rocks.

The tree stands there confused,
as to what he should do,
he doesnt want to go to hell,
What a whole pile of poo.
