Still There

by Lynzie   Dec 13, 2006

Night closes in she is all alone
No one around no one at home
She sits and thinks about what was said
All the words just filling up in her head

All the fake reasons he gave for wanting to leave
All the reasons he gave why him and her couldn't be
As she thinks and looks back about all the great times
She doesn't understand and asks "How can he not be mine?"

As she looks in her room filled with teddies, pictures, and notes
The tears start to pour her shirt sleeve is soaked
She can no longer hold back the tears or can she hide the pain
Of remembering all the fun and all the love they made

How can someone just take everything away
When they were the one that promised to stay
He was the one that she knew would never make her cry
But yet now he is the only reason she has to want to die

Without him her life has no meaning no reason to go on
Why continue to try to live in this cold world all alone
She doesn't have one good reason she can think of why she needs to live
She doesn't have anyone to love her or even have someone who love she can give

So as she sits in her room letting tears fall
She no longer has any meaning none at all
She lights the candles and wishes she will die tonight
Maybe that will make everything all right

Then she would no longer worry bout the pain he has caused
Or would she have to count how many tears she's lost
She lays her head down on her pillow and softly says a prayer
Please if you let me die let him know I'm still there...!
