Her world will end

Days are dim
Life is cold
Horrifying stories
Left untold

Every day
Nothing's new
Same world,same pain,same story
Seen from a darkened veiw

Nothing left to live for
Nothing left but pain
Banished from the light
A penetrating scream of the insane

Solid to all feelings
Except the daggers of pain
Eyes puffy and red
And tear-stained

living in an evil world
Of evil games and evil schemeing
Her ears withered
From all the screaming

Doors slam
Chains rattle
Held hostage
Losing the battle

Tires screech
Dogs bark
Lights blink
Fire sparks

Ice cracks
Trees fall
One last tear
Completes the call

The hour is here
The clock strikes
Kids whine
And parents fight

Evil scents
Fill the air
Glass shatters
Through the cries of despair

The wind blows strong
The streets flood
Cuts are made
Here comes the blood

Rain pours
Lightning flashes
The ground parts
Thunder crashes

Limbs break
Rules bend
Cookies crumble
Her world will end

    Wow.. that is an awesome poem.. I'm like speechless.. it was so full of such sad emotion, and I love the choice of words..the flow was great. I loved this stanza:

    Days are dim
    Life is cold
    Horrifying stories
    Left untold

    A very deep piece that is full of emotion. Images and feelings spring into being when your words are read. I particularly liked these lines

    Doors slam

    Held hostage
    Losing the battle
