Fake a Smile

by The Angel of Secrets   Dec 20, 2006

As if it was not there, push away the pain,
Look at the sky as if it'll never rain.
Behold the sunset as if it would never pass,
Touch the sky as if it was made of glass.
Unfold your secrets to the bare, cold air,
Look for answers that blows gently trough your hair.
Tell the voices your stories, they will listen close,
Tell them everything that no one else knows.
Talk to them as if they were your best friends,
As if it was a river, that never ends.
As you finish, softly, say your goodbyes,
And watch the sun coming, in a sweet sunrise.
For now life is worth living, if only for a while.
You can again go back, and fake your smile.
