Lies and Truths

by .K.i.T.t.Y.   Dec 26, 2006

Prove me wrong,
Tell me what they say are lies,
That they are just jealous,
Of you and me.

Look me in the eyes,
And tell all the truths,
To contradict what I've heard,
To lessen any doubts.

Clear up all the insecurities.
Buried within my soul.
Prove to me I am safe,
And innocence will prevail.

Let me know that I can trust you,
And weep my heart's tears,
With someone there to wipe them away,
Tending to a few simple needs:

Time to think,
And realize the truth,
Of who you really are,
And our true destiny.

Patience from you,
To balance my ways,
You care,
To keep me going.

Give me a chance,
To clear my mind,
Of all the lies,
My friends have told me.

Give me the chance,
To listen to you,
and the truth
Of this undefined rumor.
