Untitled [First Sonnet Ever Done]

by TheWorldFellNUWerentThere   Dec 27, 2006

[[This is suppose to be about a hard life and in the end is sucide. Just if the poem didnt really make sense. This is my first sonnet EVER done.]]

I'll show you the hurt
I've felt for years
I'll show you scars beneath my long sleeved shirt
When everything became wrong with me and my peers

My past is far then worse
From all the lies and wounds
These words I tell aren't the first
But will forever progress over many moons

Don't laugh at me for my fake smile
Or how horrible my world became
But just be my friend for a while
And all that you thought you knew wouldnt be the same

I'll show you the reddend eyes and mumbled words
From the partys with drugs and drinks
Just another girl who goes unheard
About alot of things

Everything seems like its falling
Down on me
Silence is now calling
I shall let you go and let me for once become free

Wow, just wow. I loved it, and I usually don't like dark poems, but this was very nicely written. Keep up the great work.

This very original dark poem reflects a need to be discovered that I think may be shared buy the authors peers maybe a desire to be loved for who you are and not what they want you to be.. This sonnet has a very nice flow in a colloquial style perhaps then more than now if you know what I mean

My past is far then worse

I really enoyed this sonnet and pondering its meaning
