I can only hold onto you for so long
Before I'm forced to let you go
Your hand slips out of mine
And once again I find myself alone

It doesn't get any easier
To watch you go away
A part of me can't understand
This isn't your home and you can't just stay

I don't look anymore
For the safe way to love you
Safe is in your arms
And they are one and the same

In spite of myself I say goodbye
But there was always something more I needed to say
But I'm forgetting your not here
And it's time to start missing you today

    I like that line because I relate to it. In fact I think a lot of ppl can relate to that. Sometimes I think we never feel there's truly ever closure. We can always think of "one" more thing we should have said, but to me, that's just the part of me saying 'don't let go.' Hope that made sense...lol...
