Others would make you jealous.

You appreciated her,
And won her over...
With thousands of e-mails,
You promised you'd be sober.

You were so gentle,
Yet held her hand tight,
At the movies,
On a cold October night...

On December 8th,
There was a party...
You only drank a little,
But had sex with another lady.

You told her on the 10th,
Of what had happened...
A sleepless night for her,
And she was saddened.

Shame filled up in you,
Of what you had done,
She finally found someone,
But now...is this supposed to be fun?

You knew it was bad,
What you did...
Later you were confused and sad,
And her tears she still hid.

Both of you were sad,
And it seemed like everything was lost...
So both of you have to pay,
What is the cost?

2 weeks go by...

I know what's on the inside,
But on the outside...
It seems like she doesn't care.

Who'll pay the last fine.

All those lies we don't know about,
All the pain you're going through,
All the pain she went through,
...over and over again,
All the tears shed,
All the sleepless nights,
All the lost "I love you"s...
All the bad you read above...
And what about the good?
Where has it all gone?
