Dark

Dark

I don't want to speak,
I feel too weak,
As I sit here; in the dark.

The tears stroll down my cheek,
My makeup makes streaks,
As I lay here; in the dark.

In the silence I hear squeaks,
In the noise I hear creaks,
As I sleep here; in the dark.

I walk towards the creek,
Yet it seems so distant and bleak,
As I dream here; in the dark.

I awaken, after a week?
I feel so old, like an antique,
As the sun shines here; in the dark.

And as the rays, so oblique,
Come visit me, oh so chic,
I am no longer in the dark.

**ugh. don't like the sound of this scheme (aaB B=same word)
sounds so yuck.
anyways was just for a try.
