Bored

by jason   Jan 4, 2007

Bored with this life that I am living
hearing the same words that are a given
what is the point of being here
of eating this food
of cleaning a room
of taking a step to get better
when all that you do leaves regret
all of those dirty lies and cheated bets

Bored with a world so simple and cold
people flowing like a river into a shore
going the same place seeing the same face
at the end
you go to sleep just for it all to begin again
the same messages everyone sends
to one another
even the birds doing the same thing
everyday while they flirt and flutter

bored with the people running around like fools
controlling each other using others like tools
all think they are living life
when all they do doesn't equal the price
because it does not matter at the end
they hear each others cries actions of their sins
then get surprised
by the effect that they had done inside the persons mind

A life in this world is such a bore
why then am I forced to endure
all this is no fun
waking up each day has become a chore

The thing i liked most about this poem was the truth in it. its kinda funny how everything remains the same, even when they change. its actually strange, how that with a life full of infinite posabilities ,we still create our own rut and forever get stuck in it. 3 hurrahs for humane stupidity say i. there can be nothing else quite like it in the whole universe.
    good job on the poem
